The Right To Assassinate

THE RIGHT TO ASSASSINATE

Freedom of Speech, the Right to Bear Arms, and the Quest for a Truly Free Democracy

What is the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution? Freedom of Speech, right? Any moron knows that. As Americans we take deep pride in the fact we can say whatever we want and express ourselves in any way we feel. But this freedom of expression only goes so far, thanks to our government.

What is the second amendment to the great document we call the Constitution? The right to bear arms. Theoretically (but not in reality), U.S. citizens have the right to own and use weapons. Not just small weapons like pistols, shotguns, grenade launchers, and napalm, but weapons actually capable of protecting your family in extreme situations - tanks, nuclear warheads, poison gas, super-soakers, and the like.

Is it a coincidence that freedom of speech and the right to bear arms are the FIRST TWO amendments to the constitution? No, of course not. It is obvious to you, oh reasonable reader, that the fathers of our constitution intended for us to have the right to express ourselves in any way, shape or form - and to own and use any weapons we want. Consequently, the most inalienable right to the American citizen is currently not permitted. We are talking about...

THE RIGHT TO ASSASSINATE

Have you even been upset with a politician who is soaking up YOUR tax dollars and doing a poor job of representing YOUR interests? What can you do about it? Write a letter? Plan a protest? Vote for someone else? Get real. These so-called "options" make you look like a fool and do nothing to further your cause. Wouldn't it be nice to end the career of a "career politician" with one quick squeeze of a trigger or press of a button? It is difficult to think of a more clear way to express your unhappiness with an elected official.

Unfortunately, assassination is currently illegal in this country, and suprisingly in most other countries across the globe as well. As a strict rule, BuLC does not participate in, condone, or encourage in ANY illegal activities. So DO NOT begin to assassinate your incompetant representatives. Instead, let us help make it legal through peaceful grass roots political action.

Spread the word to your friends. Write your representatives in Congress. Explain to them how the right to assassinate could belong to every man, woman, and child. Think of the children. Are we going to watch them grow up in a country where they are not allowed to express themselves?

Question:
If we make assassination of our leaders legal, won't it discourage talented people from running for these positions?

Answer:
You are thinking about it the wrong way. If we make assassination legal, won't it ENCOURAGE our leaders to do a better job?

Question:
I see you have a picture of Lee Harvey Oswald on your page. Do you consider him a hero of some kind?

Answer:
Absolutely not. Just like BuLC members, Lee believed in the right to assassinate. But he DID NOT wait until legalization, and henceforth will spend the rest of his life in prison. We do not need fanatics in BuLC, and Lee's request for membership has been denied many times. Lee has done more harm than good in the crusade to legalize assassination.

Question:
Won't the legalization of assassination create total chaos? Even if an elected official is the best politician ever, eventually one citizen out there will become dissatisfied and assassinate them. Then the rest of the people will lose a beloved and respected leader.

Answer:
There are sacrifices to be made if you want to live in a true democracy. Sure, we could keep assassination illegal, but the next thing you know all your other rights will be taken away. How does that make you feel? Why?
